Another Sunday, another weekly roundup. This week also focused on One UI 8.5, with Samsung expanding the stable rollout to older flagship and foldable Galaxy devices. The company also started bringing the update to midrange phones and tablets, while a few devices saw their rollout expand globally. Alongside that, Samsung dropped the May 2026 security update for many users across different markets, and last monthโ€™s April 2026 patch continued reaching a few more models as well. Samsung spent most of this week expanding the stable One UI 8.5 rollout. The update started reaching 2023 flagship and foldable models, including the S23 series, S23 FE and Z5 devices. Samsung also began the rollout for the midrange A series, starting with the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36. Towards the end of the week, the Galaxy Tab S11 series and Galaxy Tab S10 FE series also joined the rollout, although the update is currently limited to Korea.
