In the coming days and even weeks, we’ll continue updating this roundup as more Galaxy devices join the list for the April 2026 security update. Once your device appears here, you can expect to receive the update either right away or after a few days. That’s because Samsung rolls out updates gradually, and CSC plays an important role in the process.
Samsung’s April 2026 security update fixes 47 vulnerabilities across Android and One UI, including critical and high-severity issues. It also includes Samsung Semiconductor patches and addresses flaws in features like Device Care and DeX.
That said, it’s never a bad idea to head to Settings > Software update. If there’s an update available, it’s best to install it as soon as possible. To do that, tap Download and install, and once the update file is ready, tap Install now. It will take some time, followed by a reboot, after which your device will be running the latest available security patch.
