Samsung is continuing to prepare its software ecosystem for the arrival of One UI 9. After updating several Good Lock modules over the past few weeks, the company has now released a new version of Display Assistant with full support for its Android 17-based software. While the app already worked on One UI 9 Beta, the latest version may bring additional optimizations for the new operating system.

Good Locks’s Display Assistant module updated for One UI 9

Samsung has released Display Assistant version 9.0.08 through the Galaxy Store. The update is relatively small at 7.92MB, but it ensures the module is fully compatible with One UI 9. The new version doesn’t appear to contain any new user-facing features. However, it may include additional optimizations beyond basic compatibility, allowing Display Assistant to work seamlessly once the stable software begins rolling out.

Display Assistant is the latest Good Lock component to receive full One UI 9 compatibility. In recent weeks, Samsung has also updated several other popular modules, including ClockFace, LockStar, MultiStar, NavStar, and RegiStar. Only NotiStar, HomeUp, and Game Booster+ are now missing One UI 9 support. They should receive similar updates in the coming days.

As for the stable One UI 9 release, it arrives out of the box on Samsung’s new foldables: Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, and Fold 8 Ultra. The devices are set to go official on July 22, followed by a market release in early August. Samsung should prepare all Good Lock modules for One UI 9 ahead of that. We will keep you posted.
