Galaxy Z Flip 8 Complete Design Revealed Through Case Listings

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Wide Fold, and Flip 8 in a few months. Earlier, case listings for the former two surfaced online, giving us an early look at their design. Now, the Flip model has also appeared in case renders. These show the upcoming clamshell foldable from multiple angles.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 case renders reveal familiar design

At first glance, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 looks identical to its predecessor. The top half of the rear panel features the large cover display, which should measure around 4.1 inches. Two camera sensors sit on the top left corner. Meanwhile, the LED flash is placed beside them, embedded into the body.

On the lower half of the back, the case listing also hints at MagSafe-style wireless charging support. This suggests the Galaxy Z Flip 8 could offer Qi2 wireless charging, but there may not be built-in magnets. Instead, the charging ring is built into the case.

Moving to the front, the device features a flat inner display with a centred punch-hole selfie camera at the top. The panel is expected to measure around 6.9 inches. When folded, the hinge area shows a metallic strip with Samsung branding. The renders also reveal the placement of the buttons, ports, and speaker cutouts.

While Samsung may not introduce major design changes this year, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to become slightly taller, wider, and maybe thicker compared to the Flip 7.

Samsung could officially unveil its 2026 foldable lineup on July 22 during its next Galaxy Unpacked event in London, based on earlier reports. The devices are expected to debut with Android 17-based One UI 9 out of the box. Since the launch is still over two months away, more leaks and details should continue appearing in the coming weeks.
