Samsung is preparing three new foldables for 2026, and a new leak may have just revealed the launch date. According to the Korean media, the company plans to unveil its next-gen foldable lineup on July 22, 2026. And for a change, the launch event may take place in London.

Samsung may move its next Unpacked to London

A report published by WowTV Korea suggests Samsung will hold its next Unpacked event in London. If true, this would be the company’s first major event in the city. The Korean firm typically unveils its major products in the USA or its home country, South Korea.

Samsung may have strategically picked London for the upcoming Unpacked, though. The company has a strong presence in Europe, one of the most competitive premium smartphone markets in the world. It currently leads the market with a 35% share, followed by Apple with 27%. Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy S26 Ultra is also a massive hit in the region.

Moving its foldable launch to London may help Samsung reinforce its position in a region where brand perception, premium design, and ecosystem strength increasingly influence buying decisions.

As far as the product lineup is concerned, Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Wide Fold. The latter is a new model featuring a wider main display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The device could feel closer to a compact tablet when unfolded, improving usability for productivity and media consumption. The device is also said to support S Pen input, further enhancing its functionality.
