Samsung has earned top honors in service value and customer satisfaction. The company received the Grand Prize in the Home Appliance After-Sales Service category at the 2026 National Service Awards. This is the second consecutive year for such recognition.
Samsung offers smarter appliance support to improve customer experience
The National Service Awards is an evaluation system supported by government bodies such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It identifies companies that offer excellent customer satisfaction and service quality in different sectors. An operating committee, which includes industry experts and academic evaluators, selects the winner.
Samsung received praise for “introducing differentiated services tailored to changes in customer demand”. The company offers a service called “AI Pre-care Notification,” which can analyze appliance issues. The system works with products connected to the SmartThings app. It also notifies users when abnormal signs are detected.
The engineer explains AI diagnosis results and helps arrange on-site service. Samsung now provides advanced notifications for 24 issues across 11 products. Some of these include air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and robot vacuum cleaners.
Samsung also launched a subscription service called “Blue Pass,” providing differentiated customized management. Moreover, the “One More Service” allows technicians to inspect an extra Samsung product for free. This reduces the need for multiple service appointments.
Thanks to “Samsung Care Plus Home Appliances/TV,” customers can conveniently maintain their home appliances. They receive comprehensive product inspections, filter replacements, and professional cleaning.
Basically, Samsung is mixing technology and customer care to improve day-to-day home appliance experiences. The latest award now boosts the company’s position in the industry’s after-sales service segment.
“I sincerely thank our customers for their support, which enabled us to be selected for the National Service Award for two consecutive years,” said Lee Chul-gu, Vice President and Head of CS Support at Samsung Electronics Service. “We will continue to innovate our services to provide a differentiated experience.”
