Galaxy Watch 9, Watch Ultra 2, A27 Certified Ahead of Launch

Samsung’s three upcoming devices have recently cleared fresh regulatory hurdles. The Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 have appeared in China’s 3C certification database, while the Galaxy A27 has surfaced on Singapore’s IMDA platform. The new listings suggest that the company’s next-gen smartwatch models and a new Galaxy A phone are on track for launch.

Samsung’s upcoming wearables and mid-range phone clear new regulatory hurdles

Samsung is gearing up to launch at least two new Galaxy Watch models this year, including the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2. There is also chatter that a Galaxy Watch 9 Classic could join the company’s 2026 smartwatch lineup. If that pans out, it would be a shift in its release strategy. The Korean firm usually introduces Classic-branded Galaxy Watches every two years.

Anyway, Samsung has recently secured 3C certification for two smartwatch models, SM-L3550 and SM-L7150. The models in question are the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2, respectively, for the Chinese market. The certification also confirms 10W charging support (5V/2A) for both models, the same speeds as their predecessors.

Report suggests Samsung could launch the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 on July 22 at an event in 2026. Now that the devices are clearing up key regulatory hurdles, the launch timeline seems to be falling into place.

Meanwhile, Samsung is also preparing to launch the Galaxy A27, which will join the recently released Galaxy A37 and A57. The upcoming mid-range smartphone has recently appeared in Singapore’s IMDA certification database with the model number SM-A276B/DS. Previously, Thailand’s NBTC platform confirmed the model’s marketing name as Galaxy A27.

Recently, the Galaxy A27 has also surfaced in leaked renders, revealing its design. The phone could come in four color options: Mint, Black, Blue, and Pink.
