We may have just received further confirmation that Samsung’s 2027 flagship lineup will consist of four models. A few weeks after the standard Galaxy S27 appeared in the GSMA database, the Galaxy S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra have now surfaced in the same records. Their appearance suggests that the company is planning to expand its flagship lineup with a new Pro model next year.
Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series is beginning to take shape
Rumors of Samsung introducing a Pro-branded flagship next year have been circulating for some time. The Galaxy S27 Pro is said to serve as an alternative to the Ultra, offering a premium experience. The company is reportedly targeting buyers who want flagship hardware but prefer a less bulky phone than the Ultra, while finding the base or Plus models too much of a compromise.
The latest GSMA listings (via ovrplus) confirm the ongoing development of the Galaxy S27 Pro, alongside the three regular models. As things stand, Samsung’s 2027 flagship lineup will include the following four devices:
- Galaxy S27 — SM-S952
- Galaxy S27+ — SM-S956
- Galaxy S27 Pro — SM-S957
- Galaxy S27 Ultra — SM-S958
While these registrations don’t reveal any hardware specifications, they do confirm the model names and corresponding model numbers. As usual, Samsung will attach regional identifiers to the end of the model numbers (U for the USA, B for global markets, N for Korea, 0 for China, etc.).
It’s worth noting that Samsung also launches a Fan Edition model under its Galaxy S lineup. It typically arrives late in the year. This year’s Galaxy S26 FE, for example, isn’t expected until September. There should be a Galaxy S27 FE next year, but it may not appear in the GSMA database anytime soon. We will keep you posted.
