Samsung’s next foldable phones may still be weeks away from their official debut, but a popular accessory maker has already started showing off cases designed for the upcoming devices. Thinborne recently shared images of its “thin” cases for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Wide), and Fold 8 Ultra. These devices may not arrive in stores until August.

Accessory manufacturer Thinborne published images of its standard cases for upcoming Samsung foldables on X. While the company isn’t revealing any official specifications, the case designs offer clues about the shape and size of the new devices. Well, we have already seen all three models in leaked renders, so the design is not a mystery anymore.

Based on the leaks so far, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Fold 8 Ultra do not bring any obvious design changes to the overall form factor. These devices should look identical to their predecessors, the Flip 7 and Fold 7, respectively. Samsung is focusing on refinements rather than a redesign, though it’s now adding “Ultra” to the Fold model’s branding. The latter change is aimed at better reflecting its proposition.

That said, the accessory maker adds that the camera cutout on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra differs slightly from the one used on the Fold 7. While the overall rear camera arrangement appears familiar, the revised opening hints that Samsung may be making changes to the camera module design this year.

Besides the Ultra, Samsung is also launching a standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 this year. However, it’s not a stripped-down version with fewer features. It is a completely new product with a wider design and looks nothing like the Fold 8 Ultra. The device sports a tablet-like, 4:3 main display, as well as a wider cover screen.

Samsung is widely expected to unveil these foldables during a Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22, followed by market release in early August.
