Samsung has released a new update for its advanced camera app, Expert RAW, with version 6.0.00.15. The update mainly improves noise reduction, HDR performance, and overall stability. It is available for users running One UI 9 beta, which is currently limited to the Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung pushes new Expert RAW update for One UI 9 beta devices

Samsung’s Expert RAW is a useful camera app for photographers and content creators who want more control over their photos. The app lets you capture images in RAW format, so you can edit details like brightness, shadows, and colors later. It also includes professional controls such as ISO, shutter speed, exposure, and focus.

With the latest update, Samsung has improved the Expert RAW experience. According to the changelog, the update enhances image processing for better noise reduction and dynamic range in RAW photos. This means you may see reduced grain and better detail in your shots.

Furthermore, Samsung has included stability improvements and general bug fixes for a more reliable experience. The update also brings optimization for the latest One UI version and Galaxy device hardware. The changelog notes that advanced modes like Astrophotography and Multi-Exposure remain part of the Special Photo Options.

As of now, Samsung has limited the latest Expert RAW update to Galaxy devices running Android 17-based One UI 9 beta. Since the Galaxy S26 series is currently the only lineup eligible for the beta program, only those users can enjoy the update right now. The new version doesn’t work on One UI 8.5 devices, even the S26 Ultra.

Anyway, if you are running One UI 9 beta on a Galaxy S26 device, you can check for updates in the Galaxy Store. Simply open Galaxy Store and go to this path: Menu (three lines) > Updates. Now look for the latest Expert RAW version. We’ll let you know if Samsung expands the latest build to One UI 8.5 or older Galaxy phones in the coming weeks.
