Galaxy S26’s AI Features Now Available on Galaxy S25 and S24

Samsung shipped a host of new AI features with the latest Galaxy S26 series to elevate the flagship experience. The good news is that most of these tools have now reached older devices, including the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24. This rollout is part of the recent One UI 8.5 beta waves.

The latest One UI 8.5 beta brings several new AI features to older Galaxy devices

The Galaxy S26 series runs the stable Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. The lineup also introduces several cutting-edge AI features, including Call Screening, Creative Studio, and an upgraded Photo Assistant. Naturally, these features are part of One UI 8.5, meaning devices running this build should also get them.

However, older Galaxy S25 and S24 flagship users running One UI 8.5 beta initially did not have access to these tools, raising doubts about their availability. Thankfully, the latest beta waves are finally bringing them in. The Galaxy S25’s tenth build and the Galaxy S24’s third build now include new AI features.

Speaking of Call Screening, the feature uses AI to handle incoming calls. A call assistant answers for you, asks who is calling, and why. You will also see the conversation on your screen in real time. The best thing is that you can join the call anytime or switch to a text call.

Samsung has improved its Photo Assist tool, which now supports natural language editing. You just need to tell what you want to change, and the tool will fulfill your request. For example, if someone takes a bite of your food before you take a photo, ask it to restore the missing bite.

As for Creative Studio, the feature helps you turn your ideas into polished visuals effortlessly. You can start with a sketch or text prompt and create things like custom stickers. The tool is accessible directly from the Edge Panel. The latest beta update also brings a document scanner into the camera app.

The new features also arrive in several foldable models as part of the latest One UI 8.5 beta. These include Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Z Fold 7.
