Galaxy S24 Series, S25 FE get One UI 8.5 Beta 3 with new AI Features

Another week, another One UI 8.5 beta release. Earlier today, Samsung released the tenth One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 and the fourth for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Now, the company has rolled out One UI 8.5 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S25 FE, as it continues to fix bugs and improve the overall experience ahead of the stable release.

Samsung rolls out One UI 8.5 Beta 3 for Galaxy S24 lineup and S25 FE

Samsung’s 2024 flagship lineup, the Galaxy S24 series, has started receiving the third One UI 8.5 beta update. As of now, the update is live in South Korea and India. It comes with an installation size of around 850MB. The build number ends in ZZDD, the same as the S25 lineup and Fold 7.

The Galaxy S25 FE is also receiving its third One UI 8.5 Beta update in the same two markets, and with the same build number. The update size for this model is around 700MB. Other markets like the US and UK are expected to follow soon.

For both devices, the update includes the April 2026 security patch. It also brings a new set of Galaxy AI features. These include Call Screening, which can handle unknown callers automatically, and Creative Studio, a new tool aimed at improving content creation. The update may also include improvements to features like Audio Eraser and Photo Assistant. Alongside this, Samsung has fixed several bugs from earlier builds to deliver a smoother experience.

That said, Samsung continues to stay active with its beta rollout. A fourth beta update for these devices is possible and could be the final beta before the stable release. The Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S25 FE may receive the stable One UI 8.5 update sometime around next month, depending on Samsung’s plans.
