One UI 8.5 Beta 10 Brings AI Upgrades to Galaxy S25

Samsung has released One UI 8.5 Beta 10 for the Galaxy S25 series. The update, identified by firmware version ZZDD, is currently rolling out to beta participants in India, South Korea, and select European markets. It should soon reach the remaining supported regions, including the US. This could be the final beta release before the stable update, expected later this month.
Galaxy S25’s latest One UI 8.5 beta update brings new AI features
The latest beta release for the Galaxy S25 lineup weighs almost 1GB, though the exact size varies by market and model. The changelog is relatively small, though there are some notable new additions. Samsung is pushing fresh AI features to its 2025 flagships, introducing new tools and improvements that debuted with the S26 lineup a couple of months ago.
One of the highlights is Call Screening, which can automatically handle unknown callers and even respond on your behalf. There’s also Creative Studio, a new tool designed to make content creation and editing more intuitive. It builds on the Drawing Assist feature that existed earlier. Samsung has also improved other existing AI tools, including Audio Eraser and Photo Assist.
On top of this, One UI 8.5 Beta 10 for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra contains a bunch of bug fixes. Samsung has addressed issues affecting the call screen, proximity sensor, video recording in third-party apps, Bluetooth connections, and multi-touch. With this release, the company is clearly pushing toward the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series.
If rumors are accurate, we may not see another beta release for these devices. Samsung could kick off the stable update later this month, at least in Korea, with a wider rollout beginning in early May. One UI 8.5 is expected to reach all eligible Galaxy devices by the end of July, if not earlier.
