Samsung Shines at Edison Awards 2026 With Four Wins

Samsung has earned recognition at the prestigious Edison Awards 2026. The company won two gold awards and two silver awards for its cutting-edge technologies in smart living, entertainment, commercial display, and home appliances. The awards ceremony took place in Fort Myers, Florida, on April 15-16, 2026.

Samsung’s innovative technological capabilities receive global recognition

For the uninitiated, the American Marketing Association started the Edison Awards in 1987. The awards recognize companies that do well in product and service development, marketing, and human-centered design. This year, they present awards in 14 categories, ranking winners as gold, silver, or bronze.

Samsung’s winning entries are Smart Modular House, Vision AI Companion, Spatial Signage, and Bespoke AI Laundry Combo. The former two received gold awards, while the latter two secured silver awards.

The Korean firm’s Smart Modular House offers AI-based architectural solutions. The system creates a connected living space that links the environment, appliances, and users. As a result, it helps manage indoor conditions, device status, and energy use efficiently.

As for Vision AI Companion, it offers a new way to interact with the TV using generative AI. You can ask questions about what you are watching and search for related content using simple voice commands.

Now, coming to Spatial Signage, the display offers a 3D experience without glasses. It uses the in-house patented 3D Plate technology. Designed for commercial use, you can deploy it in retail stores, exhibitions, and entertainment venues to improve audience engagement.

Speaking of the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, the appliance combines washing and drying in a single compact unit. Thanks to a 7-inch screen, we get a more intuitive interface. The AI Wash & Dry feature automatically tweaks settings depending on fabric type and soil levels.
