Galaxy M47, F70 Pro Appear on BIS; Galaxy M37 Makes Surprise Appearance

Samsung is preparing to launch several new Galaxy devices later this year, including many midrange models. Among them are the Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro. Recently, both devices appeared on India’s BIS certification website. Interestingly, a battery listing for the Galaxy M37 has also surfaced, suggesting that Samsung is internally working on the device as well.
Galaxy M47, Galaxy F70 Pro and Galaxy M37 appear on India’s BIS certification
Starting with the Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro, both devices have now been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database with model numbers SM-M476B/DS and SM-E476B/DS respectively. With this, Samsung seems to be reviving the Galaxy M4x series after nearly three years. The “/DS” suffix confirms dual SIM support for both devices.
While the BIS listing does not reveal any specifications, the Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro are expected to offer strong midrange hardware. Samsung will likely focus on competitive pricing, a Super AMOLED display, a large battery and a balanced overall package to attract online buyers in markets like India.
Coming to the Galaxy M37, a new battery listing has appeared in India. The listed battery carries model numbers EB-BM376EAE and EB-BM376EAY. This confirms that Samsung is also preparing the successor to the Galaxy M36. The Galaxy M37 could launch sometime during the last quarter of the year.
As of now, there is no sign of the Galaxy M57. However, with Samsung preparing a new Galaxy M3x model, there is a good chance we could see a Galaxy M5x device appear soon as well. More listings and certifications should start surfacing in the coming weeks.
The Galaxy M47 and Galaxy F70 Pro had already appeared earlier on Samsung’s internal servers and the GSMA IMEI database. However, the Galaxy M37 is making its first major appearance through this battery listing. We will keep you updated as more information starts appearing.
