Galaxy M47 Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 6 Gen 3

Samsung is developing new M-series phones, which are often more affordable than the company’s other offerings. The model in question, the Galaxy M47, was spotted earlier today on Geekbench with the model number SM-M476B.
Galaxy M47 benchmarked running Android 16 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has spotted the Galaxy M47 (SM-M476B) on Geekbench GPU, where it achieved an OpenCL score of 2,256. Subsequently, SammyGuru’s Mohammed Khatri spotted the same model on Geekbench CPU, with scores of 1,000 in the single-core test and 3,036 in the multi-core test.
The listing confirms that the device is running Android 16. Our findings further reveal that it carries build version M476BXXU0AZD5. The Galaxy M47 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The SoC features four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.80GHz. It also integrates the Adreno 710 GPU for graphics.
Well, it looks like Samsung is indeed reviving the M4x series
If anything, these developments indicate that the Galaxy M47 is moving closer to launch. Back in March, the same model appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, marking a key step toward its release. A month later, we exclusively spotted the Galaxy M47 on Samsung’s test servers in India and Nepal.
The Galaxy M47 will succeed the Galaxy M44, which launched in late 2023. Notably, Samsung hasn’t released any M4x series smartphone since then, suggesting that the company is preparing to revive the lineup. More details about the device are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
