A few weeks ago, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A27 appeared on Geekbench. However, the scores looked unreliable, suggesting that the listing could be fake. Now, new Geekbench entries have appeared, and they look more accurate, showing better performance.

New Galaxy A27 Geekbench listing reveals improved scores

The Galaxy A27 has surfaced on Geekbench again. It appears to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, the same chip used in the Galaxy A36. As a result, the scores are quite similar. The upcoming device scored 999 in single-core and 2985 in multi-core tests, offering decent performance and a small upgrade over its predecessor, the Galaxy A26.

The unit tested here comes with 6GB RAM and carries the firmware build number A276BXXU0AZE1. However, this listing should be taken with caution as well since Geekbench entries are easy to spoof.

That said, performance may not be the main focus this time. Samsung is likely focusing more on design. The Galaxy A27 is expected to bring a cleaner and more modern look compared to the Galaxy A26. It may replace the waterdrop notch with a punch-hole camera and could feature slimmer bezels, giving it a more premium feel.

The tiny hole may house a 12MP front-facing camera. If leaks are accurate, we may see an upgrade to a bigger 12MP sensor for better photos and videos. The phone may feature a 6.7-inch display and could come with a triple camera setup on the back, placed vertically on a slightly raised camera island.

The Galaxy A27 is also expected to pack a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It should run Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung has not confirmed the launch timeline yet, but the device could arrive later this year, likely in the last quarter.
