Samsung’s 2026 mid-range lineup may soon add a new member. The Galaxy A27 has been subject to a few leaks in recent months, and we now have our first look at its design, courtesy of reliable tipster OnLeaks. They shared high-resolution CAD renders showing off the phone from multiple angles.

Galaxy A27 gets a more modern makeover

The biggest visual change on the Galaxy A27 is the shift away from the older “Infinity-U” waterdrop notch. Samsung appears to be adopting a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, bringing the A2x series closer in line with its more premium mid-range and flagship devices. The display itself remains a flat panel, measuring roughly 6.7 inches, similar to its predecessor.

The leaked renders also confirm Samsung’s Key Island button design, housing the volume and power buttons. The latter is recessed, confirming a side-mounted fingerprint scanner (capacitive) on the Galaxy A27. While the Galaxy A37 and A57 also adopt the Key Island button design, they feature an under-display fingerprint scanner (optical).

Around the back, the Galaxy A27 retains a triple-camera setup with an LED flash. The camera housing looks identical to the A26, though Samsung appears to have slightly redesigned the lens rings. The overall silhouette remains largely unchanged, but the new model looks more modern and premium.

According to the leaked CAD data, the handset measures approximately 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9 mm, making it slightly shorter, wider, and thicker than the Galaxy A26. These minor adjustments likely reflect internal changes, potentially a bigger battery. However, we do not have specs yet, so nothing is confirmed. A recent leak suggested that the A27 may get a new selfie camera with a 12MP sensor.

It’s also worth noting that CAD-based renders are generally accurate for overall shape and size, but smaller details, such as bezels, materials, or final color options, may differ slightly on retail units. More Galaxy A27 leaks may follow in the coming weeks as Samsung gears up for its launch. The device may arrive with One UI 8.5 in a few months.
