Galaxy A54 Picks Up April 2026 Security Update

Samsung has been rolling out a bunch of updates lately. Just today, it rolled out the latest beta rounds and even expanded the One UI 8.5 beta to more devices. At the same time, it’s also rolling out the latest security update to eligible devices, and the Galaxy A54 has joined the list today.

April 2026 security update lands on Galaxy A54 in Korea

Samsung has now started rolling out the latest April 2026 security update to the Galaxy A54. The update is currently rolling out in its home turf, Korea. It should reach more regions in the coming days, possibly starting next week. The build version in question is A546SKSSGEZC2.

Users in Korea can check for and install the April 2026 security update right away. To do this, head to Settings > Software Update. If an update is available, tap Download and install. After the update file is downloaded, tap Install now. The installation will take some time, followed by a reboot.

The April 2026 security update brings fixes for a number of security issues, including 14 critical, 18 high, and one moderate vulnerability in Android. It also includes four Samsung chip fixes and patches 10 One UI issues, including bugs that could bypass security or expose private notifications. So, it’s recommended that you keep your device updated to the latest security patch.

In addition to the Galaxy A54, Samsung has also rolled out the latest security patch to the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A56, and Galaxy Z Flip 7. So far, the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, and several foldables have received the April 2026 security update as well.
