Samsung Rolls Out Quick Share and Expert RAW Updates

Samsung is rolling out fresh updates to two of its key apps: Quick Share and Expert RAW. While the official release notes mention plenty of new features, UI tweaks, and enhancements, most of those aren’t actually new. It appears the company is making some optimizations for smoother performance.

Quick Share and Expert RAW get new updates on Galaxy phones

Starting with Quick Share, the latest update introduces version 13.8.52.1 of the app. The official changelog is as follows:

• Added the Your devices option to the Who can share with you settings
• Changed the icon location of Quick Share devices for direct sharing in the Share panel (Left → Right)
• Supports a feature to share app content (Reminders, camera preset, photo filters, stickers)

While these look like important additions, the listed features already existed on older versions of Quick Share. Well, at least some of them did, if not all. On the other hand, the latest update still does not fix ongoing problems related to AirDrop sharing with Apple devices.

On the photography side, Expert RAW is getting updated to version 5.0.09.0 on Galaxy S26 phones. Once again, the changelog is massive:

• Virtual Reflector: Simulate studio-style reflectors to fill shadows and shape light for naturally balanced, professional-looking photos
• Ocean Mode: Optimized for water and underwater scenes, enhancing color, clarity, and detail by compensating for light loss and distortion

However, both of these features existed on the Galaxy S26 lineup at launch. In fact, Samsung recently pushed these tools to older models via an update for Expert RAW. The latest release for the new flagships may address some bugs and glitches for enhanced stability.
