It’s been nearly three weeks since Samsung released the third One UI 9 Beta update for the Galaxy S26 series. While many expected Beta 4 to arrive this week, the company has now confirmed that users will have to wait a little longer. A Samsung Community moderator recently revealed that the fourth beta build is scheduled to roll out next week.
Samsung reveals the One UI 9 Beta 4 release window
Although the moderator didn’t reveal an exact date, Samsung typically rolls out new beta builds early in the week. So One UI 9 Beta 4 could reach enrolled Galaxy S26 users next Monday or Tuesday. The beta program should remain limited to the US, the UK, Germany, Poland, South Korea, and India. An expansion to additional markets is unlikely at this point.
Users in other regions, as well as those who skipped the One UI 9 beta program, may also have an update on the way, though. A noted Samsung leaker says the company is preparing the July security patch for the Galaxy S26 series, and it could arrive before Beta 4. We will let you know when the rollout begins.
Meanwhile, the notice shared through the community post adds that Samsung is trying its “best to release a stable version.” But this doesn’t necessarily confirm an imminent stable public release of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 series. Instead, Samsung appears to be referring to delivering a more polished beta build with improved stability.
That said, the stable version of One UI 9 isn’t too far off either. Samsung will ship the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8 with its Android 17-based software out of the box. The new foldables are set to go official on July 22, with sales beginning in early August. A wider rollout of One UI 9 for existing devices may begin a few weeks after the new Fold and Flip arrive in the market.
