We may have finally entered the week Samsung users have been waiting for. After months of One UI 8.5 beta testing, Samsung is expected to release the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea by April 30. Other regions and devices should follow soon after.

Samsung may release stable One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 series on April 30

Galaxy S25 users have good reason to be excited. Samsung is expected to begin the stable One UI 8.5 rollout for the lineup on Thursday, April 30, based on earlier leaks and information shared by customer care. The company should first release the update in South Korea. After that, other markets like the United States are expected to follow, likely around May 4.

Samsung launched the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series in early December of last year. After nearly five months of testing and 10 beta updates, the stable release now seems very close.

Once Samsung begins the rollout for the Galaxy S25 lineup, the company could also publish its official One UI 8.5 rollout schedule through Samsung Community. This should give users a clearer timeline for other eligible devices.

Devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z TriFold, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy Tab S11, and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra are expected to receive the stable update after the Galaxy S25 series. This is likely to happen around mid or late May.

A recent leak revealed a myriad of new features and enhancements coming to Galaxy devices with One UI 8.5. The update brings a strong mix of design refinements and smoother UI improvements. In addition, there are upgraded Galaxy AI features and better cross-device functionality. All eyes are now on April 30 as Samsung prepares to begin its much-awaited stable rollout.
