It has now added more accolades in Europe, with leading consumer groups in the Benelux region naming it the best smartphone currently available on the market. Samsung’s latest Ultra flagship secured top scores in recent evaluations conducted by Testaankoop and the Dutch Consumers’ Association. With a score of 8.6 out of 10 from the Dutch group and 84 out of 100 from the Belgian body, the Galaxy S26 Ultra earned the official “Best in Test” designation. The phone also received the Innovation Award from Tweakers, one of the largest tech platforms in the region.

The combined recognition from all three organizations highlights what Samsung describes as a clear technological edge for its latest flagship, launched earlier this year. The Galaxy S26 Ultra performs particularly well in key areas that matter to users. It excels with industry-leading cameras, long battery life, practical AI tools, refined software experience, and top-notch performance.

Another standout feature is Samsung’s new Privacy Display, which limits viewing angles to protect on-screen content from prying eyes. While it has some drawbacks, it is still a major innovation in smartphone privacy. Tweakers, in awarding its Innovation Award, highlighted the Privacy Display as both practical and forward-looking, suggesting it could become a common feature in future smartphones.
