Samsung has kicked off the June 2026 security update rollout for Galaxy devices. The Galaxy S26 series is the first to receive this month’s maintenance release. Well, the update is also available for the Galaxy S25 FE. The rest of the S25 lineup, as well as other eligible models, should receive the new patch in the coming days.

Galaxy S26 series and S25 FE get June 2026 security update first

As usual, the rollout begins in South Korea. The latest update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra arrives with firmware version AZF1, while that for the S25 FE is BZF1. Note that the build version and file size may vary depending on the model, carrier, and region. But since this is a routine security release, do not expect a huge download.

Samsung’s June 2026 security release addresses more than 40 vulnerabilities. For Galaxy devices powered by Exynos chipsets, the update includes an additional patch supplied by Samsung Semiconductor. While users won’t notice any visible changes after installing this patch, it is important for protecting devices against newly discovered security threats.

As mentioned above, these are the first Galaxy devices to receive the latest security release from Samsung. The update previously reached Galaxy S26 users participating in One UI 9. Now, users on One UI 8.5 are also getting the new patch, starting in Korea. A global rollout should begin soon. The Galaxy S25 FE should also soon pick up this update in more markets.

As always, availability will vary by market, carrier, and device model. To check for new updates on your Galaxy, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Meanwhile, beta users may receive a new update with additional bug fixes next week. We will keep you posted.
