Samsung Reveals Timeline for Galaxy S26’s Third One UI 9 Beta Update

We may finally have a release date for the third One UI 9 Beta update for the Galaxy S26 series. A notice shared through the Samsung Members app in South Korea reveals that Beta 3 is scheduled to arrive next week. Based on Samsung’s rollout pattern, the update should go live next Monday, June 18.
Samsung teases One UI 9 Beta 3 for Galaxy S26
A screenshot posted on Samsung’s Korean community forums shows a message from the company stating that the 3rd beta version is in the pipeline for next week. While Samsung stopped short of revealing an exact date, the company typically rolls out new builds on Mondays. Even during exceptions, the updates usually arrive within the first few days of the week.
This announcement gives Galaxy S26 users participating in Samsung’s One UI 9 Beta Program a clearer idea of when to expect the next round of fixes and improvements. Of course, we do not have the full changelog yet. However, we expect Samsung to address some known bugs and polish the software ahead of its stable release.
The Korean firm has already confirmed that its next-gen foldables will run One UI 9 out of the box. The Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8 are expected to debut on July 22. However, a stable rollout for existing devices may not begin until a month or two later.
Currently, Samsung has only rolled out two beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series. It will push a few more beta builds to the devices and also launch beta programs for more models, including the Galaxy S25 lineup. Samsung may not expand testing globally, though. The company has historically restricted One UI betas to India, South Korea, Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US, and it’s no different this time around.
