Samsung’s next-gen foldable phones are just a few weeks away from launch, and the leaks keep coming. A third-party accessory maker has shared cases for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8. This gives us another glimpse at the foldable lineup ahead of launch.
Thinborne reveals its Galaxy Fold 8 Series and Flip 8 cases
A few days ago, we saw the images of the entire first-party case lineup for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8. Now, third-party case maker Thinborne (via Android Authority) has revealed its lineup of cases for Samsung’s upcoming foldables. The company appears to use aramid fiber to keep the cases slim while improving grip and preserving the phones’ premium look.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 cases are listed in black, blue, and red. They feature built-in magnets so you can take advantage of wireless charging. Thinborne has also listed black cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8. However, the images do not highlight the existence of integrated magnets. Note that this does not mean the phone is not Qi2-ready or that the case lacks magnets.
Thinborne lists the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra cases at $89.69, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 cases are at $79.69. The company has kept the price for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 case under wraps.
Meanwhile, the case images also revealed camera setups for the foldables, though they are no longer a secret. We can see that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra features a vertically arranged triple camera system. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Z Flip 8 sport dual-camera setups, with the former using a vertical layout and the latter using a horizontal layout.
