Galaxy S25 Ultra Case Leaked in Video, Ditches ‘Air Vent Hole’

Get ready for more Galaxy S25 Ultra gossip, as another case leak has just dropped. A tipster recently shared a short video of a transparent case for the upcoming Samsung flagship confirming its curved body and unchanged camera layout. It also confirms the lack of an “air vent hole” at the top. It was missing on the leaked silicone case last week too.

A Galaxy S25 Ultra case leaked to confirm its design

Samsung has redesigned its next-gen Ultra flagship. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has a curved body instead of a boxy one. Leaked renders have already provided us with a detailed look at its design. Last week, prolific tipster Ice Universe leaked images of a silicone cover for the phone, confirming an unchanged rear camera layout. The same source has now dropped another case leak.

The leaked video of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s transparent case doesn’t reveal anything we don’t already know. The device has buttons, ports, and cameras positioned identically to the S24 Ultra. However, at the top, we only see one cutout. The S24 Ultra has two holes — one for the top-mounted microphone while the other is an “air vent hole,” at least that’s what Samsung’s official user manual says.

This hole allegedly allows service center technicians to test water resistance and the pressure inside the phone during or after repairs. Samsung introduced it with the S24 Ultra, but it looks like it’s being dropped for the S25 Ultra. The slimmer and narrower design of the new model may have left no room for it. However, this change shouldn’t impact users, so there’s no need for concern.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a handful of notable upgrades in early 2025. Alongside a major design overhaul, we expect improved cameras, display, more RAM, and a substantially upgraded UI experience. The phone will be accompanied by the Galaxy S25 and S25+.
