Leaked Galaxy S25 Ultra Case Confirms Familiar Camera Design

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is already making waves ahead of its official debut, thanks to a ton of leaks. These early leaks have given us a sneak peek at its design, specs, and features. It is shaping up to be the Android flagship to beat next year. An alleged protective case for the S25 Ultra has now leaked in multiple images, re-confirming its rear camera layout. The iconic quad-camera setup is largely unchanged.

Galaxy S25 Ultra case images leaked early to reveal its camera layout

Images shared on X by prolific leaker Ice Universe confirm that Samsung will keep the camera layout of its Ultra flagship unchanged next year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has the same camera design as its predecessor. The images seemingly show a third-party silicone cover for the phone. We inspected a similar cover for the S25 Ultra and found the cutouts to be identical in shape, size, and positioning.

However, we noticed a change on the top edge. If you look carefully, one of the images below shows a cutout on the top edge directly above the cameras. That should be for the top-mounted microphone. But the S24 Ultra has a second hole next to it. Samsung’s official user manual describes it as an “air vent hole,” while service center employees say this hole is used to test water resistance and the pressure inside the phone.

It appears Samsung has removed it from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Interestingly, it wasn’t there on the S23 Ultra. The company tested it on this year’s model and likely decided to scrap it. Or maybe the leaked case doesn’t properly show all the cutouts. We shall find out in the coming weeks. Expected to debut in early 2025, Galaxy S25 leaks should come thick and fast closer to the launch. We will keep you posted.
