Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Slim has been rumored to see limited availability. While it may not be as restricted as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was only sold in Korea and China, the upcoming slim flagship could skip some major markets. A new report says it won’t arrive in the US, as well as China and Korea.

Samsung may not sell the Galaxy S25 Slim in the US

The Galaxy S25 Slim is a new model in Samsung’s flagship lineup. It is expected to sit between the Plus and Ultra models, offering top-tier specs in a slim body. Rumors suggest it will be only 6.4mm thick, which Samsung likely achieved by removing the S Pen and reducing the battery capacity.

Over the past few weeks, the Galaxy S25 Slim has been subject to several leaks and certification listings. Many sources said that Samsung will not release the phone globally, certainly not as widely as the regular S25 flagships. PhoneArena recently received a tip from a “historically trusted source” with a list of countries where the device is expected to be sold.

According to the source, Samsung currently plans to sell the Galaxy S25 Slim in the following 39 markets: Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Caucasus, Croatia, Egypt, France, India, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia/Montenegro, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Srilanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

As you can see, the list doesn’t include the United States, China, and Korea. It’s unclear where the source obtained this information, and we remain skeptical about its accuracy. Notably, a US version of the Galaxy S25 Slim recently appeared on benchmark tests. While that doesn’t necessarily mean it will arrive stateside, there’s still some time to go before its launch.

Speaking of which, rumors suggest the Galaxy S25 Slim will make its debut in May. Samsung might tease the device during this week’s Unpacked where it will unveil the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The big event takes place in San Jose, USA, on Wednesday, January 22. Stay tuned for more information.
