Samsung Announces Galaxy AI Subscription Club For Galaxy S25

by | Jan 20, 2025 | Galaxy S, News

Samsung has officially announced Galaxy AI Subscription Club for the Galaxy S25 series. It allows buyers to save up to 50% on the new flagships and offers damage coverage, including door-to-door repair service and battery replacement service. This service is currently available in South Korea, but the company could expand it to more markets in the future.

Galaxy S25 phones will be eligible for Samsung’s Galaxy AI Subscription Club

Samsung’s Galaxy AI Subscription Club enables Galaxy smartphone buyers to upgrade to new models every one or two years at an affordable price. When buying a new model, like the Galaxy S25 Ultra, they can select a 12-month or 24-month subscription plan with a flat monthly fee of KRW 5,900 (approx. $4). Once the subscription expires, users can return the device within two months and upgrade to a new model at almost half the price.

According to the company, a 12-month subscription guarantees up to 50% trade-in value when returning the device. This means you’ll get back half of the price you paid for the phone. You can then purchase the next model and enjoy the latest innovations at an affordable price. A 24-month subscription offers a 40% trade-in value upon returning the device two years later.

The best part of the Galaxy AI Subscription Club is that you can return the device in any functional condition. Scratches on the body don’t make it ineligible for a return. Moreover, you aren’t locked in by Samsung. You can choose to not buy the next Galaxy after your current subscription expires.

Moreover, this subscription offers discounts on accessories and provides Samsung Care+ benefits such as accidental damage coverage, instant repair discounts, on-site repair services, and battery replacements. Initially, the Galaxy AI Subscription Club will apply to unlocked Galaxy S25 models in Korea. Samsung plans to expand to carrier models later. There is no word yet on its global availability.
