Samsung has officially wrapped up the One UI 8.5 rollout, and the update is now available for all eligible Galaxy devices. With that chapter now finally closed, the company has shifted its full attention to Android 17-based One UI 9. Recently, Samsung expanded One UI 9 development to several more devices. These include the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A07, Galaxy A17, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A55, Galaxy M15 as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

Is Samsung preparing One UI 9 for more budget Galaxy devices?

Just a few weeks ago, One UI 9 development was largely limited to Samsung’s flagship lineup. Now, however, the company has started preparing a much wider range of budget and mid-range Galaxy devices for its next major software update. The Galaxy A07, Galaxy A17, Galaxy A24, Galaxy A25, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A55 have all appeared on Samsung’s test servers with their first One UI 9 builds. This is happening across regions such as India and Europe.

The firmware versions for these devices are as follows:

  • Galaxy A07: A075FXXU5DZF7
  • Galaxy A17: A175FXXU5DZF5
  • Galaxy A24: A245FXXUCGZF4
  • Galaxy A25: A256BXXUCFZF1
  • Galaxy A26: A266MUBU9DZF1
  • Galaxy A54: A546BXXUKGZF1
  • Galaxy A55: A556BXXUFEZF7

The Korean firm has also expanded One UI 9 development beyond the Galaxy A series. The Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy M15, Galaxy M36 and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have also appeared with Android 17 builds. However, just like a few devices spotted previously, we are unable to decrypt the firmware for these models. Therefore, their build information remains unknown, at least for now.

As for the One UI 9 beta program, none of these devices are expected to receive beta updates. Instead, Samsung will most likely move them directly to the stable release. This should begin rolling out later this year, likely during the final quarter.

For now, all eyes remain on July 22, when Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z8 lineup. This event will mark the official stable debut of One UI 9. As always, we’ll keep you updated as more information surfaces.
