Samsung has started rolling out the third One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S26 lineup. It’s a sizable package packed with bug fixes, stability improvements, and user experience refinements. The new build is now available for beta-registered Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra units in supported markets.
Galaxy S26 series gets One UI 9 Beta 3 with a plethora of fixes
The latest One UI 9 Beta build for the Galaxy S26 lineup arrives with a build number ending in ZZF7 and carries a hefty download size of approximately 1.8GB, making it one of the largest beta updates. While it doesn’t introduce major new features, the update focuses heavily on addressing issues reported by beta testers.
Samsung has addressed issues with Privacy Display (only on the S26 Ultra) that could behave incorrectly when using routines or toggling settings from the Quick Panel. The company also fixed a camera bug that occasionally caused part of the viewfinder to appear cropped. Lock screen widgets, such as weather and battery information, should also now update more reliably.
Photography performance has been improved as well, with Samsung enhancing focus accuracy when using the 30x zoom camera. The update also resolves a problem that could prevent users from swiping between home screen pages while using the S Pen. Additionally, it fixes a My Files issue that stopped long file lists from scrolling all the way to the bottom.
Samsung has tackled several visual and stability-related issues as well. Users should no longer encounter random white backgrounds when receiving calls, unexpected reboots during video streaming, or black background glitches when pulling down the notification shade.
Overall, the update aims to deliver a smoother and more reliable One UI 9 beta experience. Samsung is expected to push a few more beta builds before the stable release later this year.
