Galaxy M15 5G, A34 and Tab A9+ Get April 2026 Update

Samsung has finally kicked off the stable One UI 8.5 rollout for its 2025 flagships and foldables. Alongside that, the company is also actively expanding the April 2026 security patch to more Galaxy devices. The latest models to receive the update are the Galaxy M15 5G, Galaxy A34, and Galaxy Tab A9+.

Starting with the Galaxy M15 5G, the device is now receiving the April 2026 security patch in Samsung’s home country, South Korea. The update carries build number M156SKSS8CZD1. As of now, the rollout is limited to the Korean variant (known as Galaxy Wide 7), while the global model is expected to follow soon.

Moving to the Galaxy A34, the device has finally started receiving the April 2026 update in Korea. The Galaxy A34 is usually among the first Samsung devices to receive monthly security updates, but this time the rollout begins a bit later. Its sibling device, the Galaxy A54, received the update earlier last month. The latest update for the Galaxy A34 comes with firmware version A346NKSSEEZD4.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A9+ has also joined the rollout. The tablet is now receiving the April 2026 patch in Brazil after its successor, the Galaxy Tab A11+, picked up the update earlier. The release carries build number X216BXXSCEZD5.

The April 2026 update fixes 47 vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and partner companies. While these updates do not introduce major new features, they improve system security, stability, and overall user safety. Thankfully, all three of these devices are eligible for One UI 8.5, though it could take a while for the update to reach them.

Based on Samsung’s previous rollout timelines, the Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy A34 could start receiving the Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 update around the end of June. The Galaxy Tab A9+ may receive it sometime in July. We will let you know when we have more information.
