Exclusive: Here’s One UI 7.0 On Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10+

by | Mar 6, 2025 | Galaxy Tab, News, One UI

Galaxy users are eagerly anticipating the One UI 7.0 rollout on Galaxy smartphones. The beta program rolled out on the Galaxy S24 series several months ago but we’ve yet to get a taste of One UI 7.0 on a larger screen such as Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Tab S10+. Here we go, we finally have our very first look at the revamped interface for Galaxy tablets.

Quick Settings panel

The new Quick Settings page has made its way over to the larger screen. The items seem to be wider than they are on the phones, to take advantage of the larger horizontal space. There’s a full screen blur, and no container surrounding everything compared to One UI 6.1. We don’t yet have any images of the Notification Shade, or the Combined view. It’s also not clear if this will appear when swiped from the sides. But for now, everything is centred.

One UI 7.0 Home Screen on Galaxy Tab S10+

We have a single picture of how the Home Screen looks. The new widgets are coming over, as we expected. It also appears that the grid is tighter. We only have six apps in view, but it’s most likely the same eight-column grid we have with One UI 6.1 already.

Overall User Interface

Here we get a closer look at the One UI 7.0 user interface on the larger screen form factor of Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Tab S10+. Some notable changes include the thicker font in headings, rounded icons on the categories on the left, and new icon designs under Galaxy AI. We can also get a look at version numbers, with the build number ending with BYA2, and it also being stuck on the October 2024 Google Play System Update. Also, looking very closely at the battery icon in the status show the thicker, rounder design from Beta 3 and onwards on the S24 series. These photos confirm that Samsung are sticking with this design.

When will we be able to try One UI 7.0 on Galaxy Tabs?

Samsung has recently announced it will expand the beta program to more devices, with the Tab S10 series getting it sometime this month. So it should not be too long of a wait. Older devices will have to wait even longer though. If you super eager to give this a try though, then you can always grab a Tab S10 Ultra using our referral link, and get some cool accessories for it once SammyGuru Rewards launches.

Thanks for the tip, Wigetta Gaming!
