The wait is over! Samsung has launched One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The first beta update is now rolling out to the 2024 foldable in India, South Korea, and the US. It should soon be available in the UK as well. For reasons best known to Samsung, the device isn’t getting the beta program in Germany and Poland.

One UI 7.0 beta programs launched for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6

A couple of days ago, Samsung announced a major expansion of its One UI 7.0 beta program. The company said the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 will receive the first beta update this week, with the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55 following later in the month.

Samsung has now begun the rollout for the 2024 Fold model. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is picking up its first One UI 7.0 beta update. The update comes with the firmware build number ZYBJ and bundles the March 2025 security patch. The OTA (over the air) package weighs over 5GB, which is typical for a major OS update. The size may vary depending on the region.

One UI 7.0 has a ton on offer, with several new AI features and enhancements alongside a massive UI overhaul. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is receiving most of the new features Samsung rolled out to the Galaxy S24 series — the 2024 flagships have already received four beta builds, with the first one coming in early December last year.

The Galaxy S25 series, which runs One UI 7.0 out of the box, offers some exclusive features such as Now Brief. Samsung may bring them to other compatible models with the stable One UI 7.0 update. The company has already confirmed that the stable rollout will begin in April, though we do not have a precise release date. Expect more details to emerge soon.
