Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung has released One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Like its Fold sibling, the clamshell model is also receiving the beta update in India, South Korea, and the US. While there’s no confirmation for the UK yet, Samsung is expected to roll out the beta program there soon. However, Poland and Germany are not included in the beta rollout.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 joins Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta program
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is picking up the same One UI 7.0 beta firmware build as the Fold 6. Samsung is rolling out the ZYBJ build to the 2024 foldable duo. The update size varies depending on the model and region, but weighs around 5GB. Both phones are getting the latest, March 2025 security patch.
But more importantly, the update introduces tons of AI enhancements, visual upgrades, functional improvements, and new features across the system. One UI 7.0 is arguably the biggest ever update for Samsung’s custom Android skin. The company has taken its sweet time to deliver the new version, but it’s worthwhile. One UI 7.0 doesn’t feel like another incremental update.
The Korean firm has already confirmed that the stable version will be available in April. The Galaxy S24 series should first receive it, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Samsung has also announced beta updates for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55. These devices will receive the first beta update later this month.
Interested users in the aforementioned four countries can register for the beta program through the Samsung Members app. Once the registration is complete, head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install to install the beta version. While Samsung has already achieved great stability, you may encounter a few bugs across some functions.
