Samsung’s One UI 8.5 rollout is nearly complete, with only a handful of eligible Galaxy devices still waiting for the update. Recently, the company released the Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 software for the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy F34 as it looks to wrap up the rollout and shift its full attention to One UI 9 development.

Samsung expands One UI 8.5 to Galaxy A15 and F34

Samsung has finally released the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A15’s LTE model after bringing it to the 5G version earlier. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea and carries firmware version A155NKSU9DZF1. The company could begin expanding the rollout to more regions later this week.

Moving to the Galaxy F34, Samsung has also released the One UI 8.5 update for the device after rolling out the same software to its sibling, the Galaxy M34, earlier. The update is live in India with build number E346BXXUCFZE6.

Even though we are already in the fag end of June, Samsung continues bundling the older May 2026 security patch with these One UI 8.5 releases. The May patch fixes around 40 security threats identified by Samsung, Google, and other industry partners.

If you own a Galaxy A15 or Galaxy F34 and want to check for the update, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update appears and finishes downloading, tap Install now. Your device will reboot and apply all the new goodies.

What about the remaining devices? Very few eligible Galaxy models are left at this point, and Samsung is well aware of that. The company has already started One UI 9 testing for several devices and appears eager to close the One UI 8.5 chapter as soon as possible. It could complete the rollout for all remaining eligible devices within the next week or two before shifting primary focus to One UI 9 and its development.
