It is Monday again, and Samsung has kicked off another week of One UI 8.5 rollouts. The company has released the Android 16 QPR2-based update for the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy XCover 7 in select regions, adding two more devices to the growing list of Galaxy models already running One UI 8.5.

Galaxy A15 5G and XCover 7 join Samsung’s One UI 8.5 rollout

Starting with the Galaxy A15 5G, Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 8.5 for the Korean version of the phone, which is known as the Galaxy Buddy 3. The update arrives with the firmware build number A156LKSUADZE9. As of now, there is no news regarding the One UI 8.5 rollout for the Galaxy A15 (4G).

Samsung has also started rolling out One UI 8.5 for the rugged Galaxy XCover 7 in several Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The update carries build number G556BXXUFEZEB. Like other Samsung software releases, the rollout is taking place in phases. If you have not received the update yet, it may take a little longer to reach your region.

If you own a Galaxy A15 5G or Galaxy XCover 7, you can check for the One UI 8.5 update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update appears and finishes downloading, tap Install now to begin the installation.

As for the remaining eligible Galaxy devices, the wait may not be much longer. Samsung has significantly accelerated the One UI 8.5 rollout over the past few weeks and has already updated a large portion of its lineup. If your device is eligible for One UI 8.5, you can expect the update to hit your device in the coming days or weeks. At its current pace, the Korean giant could complete the rollout for all eligible models before the end of this month.
