Samsung is steadily preparing its Good Lock suite for One UI 9. With recent updates for QuickStar and MultiStar, only six more modules remain unsupported on its Android 17-based platform. Those should be updated over the next few weeks, unlocking additional customization options for One UI 9 Beta users.
QuickStar and MultiStar now support One UI 9
When Samsung released the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series, several popular Good Lock modules stopped working due to changes in the underlying system framework. This is a common occurrence with major One UI upgrades, as Good Lock apps integrate deeply with system-level components. At the time, Samsung listed eight modules that were not yet compatible with One UI 9.
Over the past few weeks, however, the company has been actively updating its customization apps. QuickStar and MultiStar have now received One UI 9-compatible updates, reducing the list of unsupported modules to six:
- LockStar
- ClockFace
- NavStar
- NotiStar
- Home Up
- Game Booster+
The rest of the Good Lock ecosystem is already compatible with One UI 9. Overall, Samsung’s Good Lock customization suite consists of 24 modules, although two of them (Dropship and Galaxy To Share) aren’t available globally. Supported modules currently include:
- One Hand Operation+
- Sound Assistant
- Keys Cafe
- Theme Park
- Wonderland
- Edge Lighting+
- Dropship
- Galaxy To Share
- Routines+
- Nice Catch
- Edge Touch
- Camera Assistant
- RegiStar
- Display Assistant
- Nice Shot
- Gallery Assistant
- QuickStar
- MultiStar
Samsung typically works to bring all major Good Lock modules up to speed during the beta period, ensuring they’re ready by the time a new One UI version reaches the stable channel. With only six apps still awaiting updates, the company appears to be well on track to achieve full compatibility. One UI 9 is expected to debut on the new foldables in late July. The remaining modules will likely receive support before then.
