Samsung’s latest Galaxy S26 Ultra continues to shine in the premium smartphone segment. The flagship model has now earned the “Best in Test” (“Migliore del Test”) recognition from the Italian independent consumer organization Altroconsumo. This shows the device’s solid overall performance and reliability compared to other premium smartphones.

Galaxy S26 Ultra achieves high scores in independent smartphone testing

Altroconsumo recently conducted independent comparative tests among several smartphones available in the market. The evaluation focused on several key areas, such as battery life, camera quality, build quality, and ease of use. The Galaxy S26 Ultra achieved scores above the average of competing (tested) models.

Samsung equipped the Galaxy S26 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform “for Galaxy”. This is a customized Qualcomm flagship processor that handles multitasking, gaming, and AI features efficiently. As such, in regular usage scenarios, the device can maintain higher performance.

Thanks to its larger 6.9-inch high-resolution display, users can enjoy multimedia content comfortably. Samsung has integrated a hardware-level Privacy Display feature to help users keep sensitive information hidden from shoulder surfing. In the camera department, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 200MP main camera with an upgraded wider aperture. Moreover, it boasts Nightography video and Super Steady to improve low-light recording and stabilization.

On the battery front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra packs a 5,000 mAh cell with support for 60W wired charging. In our test, we found the battery lasts a full day with six to seven hours of screen-on time. So, you don’t need to worry about frequent charging during regular use.

“With this recognition, the Galaxy S26 Ultra confirms its position as a benchmark in the premium smartphone segment, offering an experience that combines technological innovation, advanced performance, and certified quality,” said Samsung. As of this writing, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is available for purchase with a $250 discount. So, act fast before the deal ends.
