Samsung went all in with the stable One UI 8.5 rollout today. The Korean giant released the update for the Galaxy A35, Galaxy A55, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy M56, and several other devices. But the rollout did not stop there. Samsung has now also released the update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE lineup and the Tab Active 5 too.
Samsung starts rolling out One UI 8.5 for Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab Active 5
Samsung has now pushed stable One UI 8.5 to all of its Fan Edition tablets. The latest devices joining the update party are the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. Both tablets are now receiving the Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 update in Samsung’s home country, South Korea. Users can identify the update with firmware versions ending in EZE4 and EZE5. The installation package is a little over 3GB, depending on the variant.

Samsung has also released One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy Tab Active 5, following the Active 5 Pro, which received the update last week. Just like most of today’s releases, this update is also rolling out first in Korea. The build number ends in DZE4. It should gradually expand to more regions over the next few days.
If you own a Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, or Galaxy Tab Active 5, you can check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update appears and finishes downloading, tap Install now. Your tablet will reboot and complete the installation.
While many older Galaxy devices are getting One UI 8.5 today, Galaxy S22 series, Fold 4, and Flip 4 users are still waiting for it. Hopefully, Samsung will begin rolling out the big update for its 2022 flagships and foldables later this week.
