Samsung has finally expanded the One UI 9 beta to more users. It’s now officially available for Galaxy S26 users in India and Poland, so they can try out the Android 17-based update early. The stable launch is still away, and that could take place with the launch of foldables in the summer.
Galaxy S26’s One UI 9 beta program expands to more markets
Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra users in India and Poland can now sign up for the One UI 9 beta program through the Samsung Members app and get early access to the new software. The first beta release carries build version ZZEQ and comes with a download size of about 3.7GB. The June 2026 security patch is part of the package.
At the same time, Samsung is rolling out the second round of the One UI 9 beta to the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra in other regions such as Korea, Germany, the US, and the UK. These regions received the first beta earlier this month. Samsung is unlikely to launch beta programs in any other market.
However, in the coming weeks, the company may expand the One UI 9 beta program to more Galaxy devices. Likely candidates include the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Later, it could also reach the Galaxy S25 series and a few mid-range models.
As with any beta program, the software may contain bugs and stability issues, especially in the early builds. It’s mainly intended for enthusiasts and developers who want to test new features ahead of the public release. Users are advised to back up their data before installing the update. The stable release is expected in the second half of the year, following the launch of Samsung’s new foldables.
