As SammyGuru has grown, so has our community. Thousands of readers visit the site every day (thank you!), take part in our Mystery Box launches, and share our work. We wanted to build something that gives back to the people who support us while making the overall experience simpler and more rewarding.

We’re excited to introduce SammyGuru Rewards.

SammyGuru Rewards brings everything together in one place. Whether you’re joining a Mystery Box drop, collecting Guru Points (GP), redeeming exclusive rewards, or simply keeping up with Samsung news, your new dashboard makes it easier than ever to manage your account and get more out of being part of the SammyGuru community.

Getting started

Create an account from our new Rewards page or click the Log In button on the SammyGuru homepage. During sign-up, we recommend choosing a username instead of using your email address. It helps add a little extra privacy, and you’ll still be able to sign in with either one later.

Once you’ve created your account, you’ll be taken straight to your personal dashboard. It’s where you’ll manage your Mystery Box entries, track your Guru Points, redeem rewards, and stay up to date with everything happening on your account.

A better Mystery Box experience

If you’ve participated in one of our Mystery Box drops before, you’ll notice the process is now much smoother. Just head to the Mystery Box section of your dashboard to see every active drop and opt in to the ones you want to join.

When you opt in, we’ll generate your own personalized Samsung* and Best Buy* shopping links. These links let us automatically verify eligible purchases while helping support the program through affiliate commissions. That’s what allows us to keep bringing Mystery Boxes to the community.

For our current Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 launch, Mystery Boxes include a 65W GaN charger, a protective case, a tempered glass screen protector, USB-C earbuds, a cleaning kit, a desktop phone stand, and a few surprise goodies. Every launch has its own mix of rewards, so there’s always something new waiting inside.

After opting in, simply save your personalized shopping link and use it when preorders go live. Once you’ve placed your order, return to your dashboard and submit your claim. Our new system automatically matches eligible orders, making the entire process much faster and easier.

You’ll also receive status updates directly in your dashboard, so you’ll know when your claim has been approved, when your Mystery Box is being prepared, and when it’s on the way.

Earn Guru Points (GP) every day

The Mystery Box program isn’t the only way to earn rewards. We’ve also introduced Guru Points, which you can collect simply by being an active member of the SammyGuru community.

You’ll earn points for creating your account, completing your profile, opting into Mystery Box drops, visiting SammyGuru regularly, and participating in our upcoming community forums. Whether you’re starting discussions or joining existing conversations, every little bit helps.

Redeem rewards

Guru Points can be redeemed in the new SammyGuru Rewards Store. You can already find wallpapers and curated wallpaper packs, with plenty more on the horizon.

Over time, we’ll add premium icon packs, widget packs, downloadable apps, and physical accessories. You’ll even be able to redeem points for select Mystery Box items, giving you another way to grab some of your favorite accessories.

Rewards for our international community

While the Mystery Box program is currently available only through our US affiliate partners, we didn’t want our international readers to miss out.

You can still opt into a Mystery Box drop and share your personalized referral link with friends or family in the US. If someone completes an eligible purchase through your link, you’ll qualify for a referral reward. We’re still putting the finishing touches on it.

Introducing SammyGuru Rewards Ultra

For readers who want even more, we’ve also introduced Ultra, our premium membership tier for $7.99 per month.

Ultra members receive priority access to premium Mystery Box upgrades whenever they’re available. That could mean receiving a premium phone case instead of a standard case, along with other upgraded accessories depending on the launch.

You’ll also earn 1.5× Guru Points on eligible community activities, helping you unlock rewards even faster. As the program grows, Ultra members will also receive access to exclusive community events, including Q&A sessions with members of the SammyGuru team.

This is just the beginning

SammyGuru Rewards is more than a new membership system. It’s a new way to bring our community closer together while rewarding the people who make SammyGuru possible.

We’re already working on new rewards, more ways to earn Guru Points, additional digital downloads, physical accessories, and even more community features. As the program grows, so will the benefits.
