Breaking! Samsung Rolls Out Second One UI 9 Beta Update for Galaxy S26

Samsung has released the second One UI 9 Beta update for the Galaxy S26 series. The new release addresses a number of bugs reported by early testers, improving overall system stability, smoothness, and reliability. The company has also expanded the beta program to a couple of additional markets.
Galaxy S26 lineup picks up the second One UI 9 Beta update
The latest One UI 9 Beta update for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra bears firmware version ZZEQ. It is a 1.6GB package (the exact size may vary depending on model and region) now available for all registered users in the US, the UK, Korea, and Germany, the four markets where the beta program launched earlier this month.
Additionally, Samsung is rolling out the same build in India and Poland, which join the program today. Users in these two markets get a much larger package, weighing roughly 3.7GB. Beta users are also receiving the June 2026 security patch, which may not hit users on One UI 8.5 until next week.
According to the official changelog (via X/@tarunvats33), Beta 2 addresses issues affecting routines, status bar, lockscreen clock, messages, Game Booster, and more services. Samsung may have also added some new features or optimized the existing ones for a more stable everyday performance.
With today’s expansion, One UI 9 Beta is now available for the Galaxy S26 lineup in all six confirmed markets. Samsung doesn’t plan beta releases anywhere else. So users in the rest of the world must wait for the stable release, which is still several months away (not expected until September).
However, Samsung may soon launch One UI 9 beta programs for more devices in these six countries. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and the S25 series should be the next in line. Interested users can register through the Samsung Members app once available in their region.
