Samsung Expands April 2026 Security Update to Galaxy M34, M35 & F54

While we are in early May, Samsung has not fully wrapped up its April 2026 security patch rollout. The company has yet to start pushing the May update, but it continues expanding the April 2026 patch to more devices across the M and F series. The latest phones to receive it are the Galaxy M34, Galaxy M35, and Galaxy F54.

Galaxy M34, M35 and F54 start receiving April 2026 patch

Starting with the Galaxy M34, Samsung is now rolling out the April 2026 security update in India and Sri Lanka. The release comes with a download size of a little under 300MB and build version M346BXXSCEZD8.

Meanwhile, Galaxy M34’s successor, the Galaxy M35, is getting the same update in Vietnam with firmware version M356BXXS8CZD4.

Moving to the Galaxy F54, Samsung is also pushing the update in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It arrives with build version E546BXXSCEZD3 and a similar package size of around 300MB.

The April 2026 security patch fixes 47 vulnerabilities found by Samsung, Google, and other partner companies. These updates improve system security and help protect devices against the latest threats, so it is worth installing them to be protected against the latest issues.

Looking ahead, these devices are expected to receive the Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 update as their next major upgrade. The phones have already appeared on internal test servers, suggesting development is in progress. The update should bring smoother animations, a cleaner interface, better customization options, and an overall improved experience. Based on past patterns, the rollout could begin around the end of June.

If you own any of these Galaxy devices, you can check for the April 2026 security patch update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once it downloads, tap Install now, and your phone will reboot to complete the update.
