Leaked Galaxy S25 Ultra Dummy Confirms Slimmer Design

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is slowly approaching its official launch in January 2025, and leaks are gradually unveiling more details. The latest leak showcases an aluminum mold or dummy unit of the phone, confirming its design. This follows earlier leaked unofficial CAD renders that have given us a sneak peek at its new look.

Galaxy S25 Ultra design reconfirmed through an aluminum dummy

Samsung’s next Ultra flagship introduces a fresh new look. It has curved corners instead of a boxy design. The newly leaked aluminum dummy gives us a hands-on view of its redesigned shape. The curvature in corners is relatively smaller compared to other curved phones in the market. The Galaxy S25 Ultra already looks a lot more premium than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The device has slimmer bezels and a clean front design with a tiny hole at the top for the front-facing camera. The rear design is pretty much unchanged, and so are the button placements. Samsung still offers four cameras, a laser autofocus sensor, and an LED flash unit on the back. Overall speaking, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is slimmer, sleeker, and curvier than its predecessor.

The latest leak also reveals its dimensions. The phone allegedly measures 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25 mm, in line with previous leaks. To recall, the Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79 x 8.6 mm. So, the new model is notably slimmer and narrower while being slightly taller. It is also substantially lighter, with an alleged weight of 219 grams. The S24 Ultra weighs 233 grams.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 Ultra alongside the Galaxy S25 and S25+ in early 2025. The redesign will be accompanied by camera and display upgrades, as well as some internal changes. Expect a massive software enhancement too, thanks to Samsung’s completely revamped One UI 7.1. Stay tuned for more Galaxy S25 leaks and rumors as the Korean firm continues its development.
