Samsung has been very busy with One UI 8.5 beta releases and internal testing. Now, it looks like date for the stable rollout timeline for the Galaxy S25 series may finally be out. The dates also align with earlier leaks, making them more likely to be true. Samsung may release the update for Galaxy S25 series on April 30, and that also gives us some idea of when other devices could get One UI 8.5.

Galaxy S25 series could get One UI 8.5 stable update starting April 30

CID on X shared a screenshot of support executive, suggesting that Samsung could begin the One UI 8.5 stable rollout for the Galaxy S25 series on April 30 in South Korea. Samsung may roll out the update to all models. These include Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge and S25 FE. The information also suggests that a wider rollout could begin around May 4. This includes US variants.

This shows that Samsung is likely wrapping up beta testing and preparing for a stable release for its 2025 flagship lineup. The company may release up to 10 beta updates for the S25 lineup before the final rollout. Even though the update arrives at the end of April, it still counts as an April release. However, most users globally may receive it in early May.

After this, Samsung could begin rolling out the update to its 2025 foldables — Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and the TriFold, around the second week of May.

One UI 8.5 may then expand to more devices, including the S24 series, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Some A series models like the A56 and A36 could also receive the update in May. Tablets such as the Tab S11 lineup may be included then, too.

If Samsung follows its usual rollout cycle, it may take around three months to complete the update for all eligible devices. This means the One UI 8.5 rollout could finish by the end of July.

That said, support executive timelines are not always fully accurate, so this should be taken with some caution. However, since it aligns with earlier leaks, it seems likely.
