Samsung is now rolling out a new stability update for the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, according to user reports on Samsung Community (1,2). Both models are receiving an update with firmware version ending in AZD1. The rollout appears to be limited to Korea at the moment. That said, this usually means a broader rollout to other regions isn’t far behind.
The latest update for the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro comes with an identical changelog. It mentions that stabilization code has been applied (machine translated). In simpler terms, the update likely focuses on improving overall stability. It may include a few minor fixes.
If you own a pair, and running older software, you can go ahead and install the latest update following these steps. Open the Galaxy Wearable app, connect your earbuds, then go to Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install. Once the update file has been downloaded, tap Install now to begin the installation.
Those running One UI 8 or later can install the update through your phone’s Settings app. Connect your Galaxy Buds, tap on Galaxy Buds 3 or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in Settings. Next, follow the same steps: go to Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install. After the download is complete, tap Install now to finish the process.
