US Buyers Prefer Samsung TVs, Soundbars, Monitors, and SSDs Over Other Brands

It’s a well-known fact that Samsung makes some of the best products, and its TVs, soundbars, monitors, and SSDs are among the best. As it turns out, US consumers prefer buying these products from Samsung over other brands, which has helped it secure this position.
Circana, a market research firm, found that Samsung remains the top brand for US buyers looking to purchase a TV, soundbar, monitor, or SSD. Notably, Samsung has been the global leader in TVs for over two decades and has held the top spot in soundbars for 12 years.
Samsung is top choice for a bunch of products among US buyers
Samsung retained its No. 1 position in TVs and soundbars in 2025. The company’s portfolio spans a wide range of price points and use cases, which has helped it maintain scale in the category.
Its TV lineup includes everything from Mini LED and large-screen models to lifestyle offerings like The Frame and the outdoor-focused The Terrace. Samsung is also seeing growth in OLED TVs, a segment it’s been expanding in recent years.
Samsung also held the No. 1 position in the U.S. monitor market across several segments, including gaming, ultrawide, and smart monitors. Its upcoming Odyssey lineup focuses on high refresh rates and resolution, including a glasses-free 3D model and a 1,040Hz gaming monitor.
In storage, Samsung ranked first in both overall SSDs and internal SSDs. The recently announced Samsung 9100 PRO is part of that push, offering PCIe 5.0 speeds and capacities of up to 8TB for high-performance workloads.
Taken together, these results show that Samsung is still a strong player across major consumer tech categories in the United States. It offers products at different price points and keeps adding new features, which helps it stay ahead.
