We saw several One UI 8.5 beta releases earlier this week. Samsung rolled out the new beta updates for the Galaxy S25 series, S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and more devices. It appears the company isn’t done yet. New builds have appeared on internal servers for some of these models, suggesting that more beta releases could be on the way.

Galaxy S24, Fold 7, and Flip 7 could get more One UI 8.5 beta updates

The Galaxy S24 series has been spotted with newer One UI 8.5 beta builds on Samsung’s internal servers in several regions. This points to a new release soon, potentially the last. The latest test build carries firmware version ZZDJ, though Samsung may develop another build before the rollout.

Samsung’s latest foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, has also appeared with a new beta build. The PDA here ends with the same identifier (ZZDJ). The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to follow as well. These builds could arrive as the fifth One UI 8.5 Beta update for the foldable duo.

As for the timeline, these beta updates could go live as early as next week. They may also be the final beta builds for these models. However, if Samsung needs to fix any last-minute issues before moving to the stable release, there could be more.

Speaking of stable rollout, Galaxy S25 phones are expected to receive the update around May 4 in many regions, including the United States. Based on this, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 could follow in the second or third week of May. This would depend on the region.

That said, the final update release timeline depends on Samsung as always. We will have to wait and see how the company plans its next beta and stable rollout.
